October 4th, 2009 No comments

Tomorrow’s the big travel day, I have my pc, clothes and a few other items packed and ready to go. I’ll be staying in a hotel tomorrow night, then Tuesday, I’m off to the first treatments in the early AM hours, after that, it’s off to Nahant, Massachusetts to get settled in my new temporary crib! Somewhere in between I’ll be stopping for anything I forgot or need.

Special thanks to the man that brought by the lemon drops today! I’m sure they’ll come in handy if and when/if the nausea starts up.

We’re talking about getting SPOXTalk Radio up and running again! I’ve been in touch with others and am considering doing a few Saturday night shows while receiving treatments. However, before committing to that idea, I have to see how the treatments go and how much energy they burn.

All contact info remains the same whether you’re emailing, calling, texting or whatever.

Have a great week, I’ll try and post from the hotel tomorrow night.

A Joke For Ollie

October 4th, 2009 1 comment

An old Italian man lived alone in New Jersey. He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden, but it was very difficult work. The ground was hard and he was old.

His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison.

The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament:

Dear Vincent,
I am feeling pretty sad, because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my tomato garden this year. I’m just getting too old to be digging up the garden plot. I know if you were here my troubles would be over. I know you be happy to dig the plot for me, like in the old days.
Love,
Pop

A few days later, he recieved a letter from his son:

Dear Pop,
Don’t dig up the garden
That’s where the bodies are buried.
Love,
Vinnie

At 4am the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left.

That same day, the old man received another letter from his son:

Dear Pop,
Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now.
That’s the best I could do under the circumstances.
I love you,
Vinnie
