Hi All, this is Sherri – and I hope this is gonna work! Bob gave me a password when he started this blog, but never showed me how it worked -or it could be said, I never asked (we have been rather busy.)
Anyway, he made it safely to Boston, but to his immense frustration, his computer could not connect to the internet where he was staying the night – so he has not been able to leave an update (among other things.) During the trip the car’s brakes got their first real test – luckily successfully!
Funny, it took so much focus/effort to get to this point, we hadn’t really thought much about his actual leaving … and being apart. It is hard to think of him there alone.
Blessed Be, my love.
It’s 8 am, Monday morning and I’m making my last post from home before heading out to Boston. Hopefully, while you’re going through your day, I’ll be preparing for mine, and be ready for tomorrow.
Afterall, I’m going to Boston to find the best tattoo shop I can find … right J … walk the Freedom Trail, eat in all those wonderful restaurants, shop in all those little shops along Boyleston and Newbury streets, oh and don’t forget all the open markets this time of year. I just can’t wait to have lunch or dinner at Craigies, in Cambridge.
Boston is such an interesting city with so much to do. Think of all the sections of town I can visit. The North End, Harvard Square, Beacon Hill, Faneuil Hall and don’t forget Chinatown! There’s so much to do! I can’t wait to play tourist and walk the streets all day long, buy whatever I want and then by the wonderful circumstance that I’m there in the first place, I’ll get to bring everything home on Friday and return again the next Monday. I can do this week after week for the next 3 months! What a deal!
I think I’ll walk the Freedom Trail first. It’s only a few miles up and down hills and if I can get a free hand from holding all the shopping bags, I’ll try and take some pics.
See you there!
Oh, I gotta get ready to go … if I could only get out of this damn chair I’m in.
