Hi … my name is Bob. I’ve set this blog up to keep friends and family, and really anyone interested, updated on my health. I have recently been diagnosed (August 3rd, 2009) with a rare cancer called Chondrosarcoma. On top of that, I have an even rarer version of that. So it’s kind of special.
Even if your not a family member or friend, you may still be interested in following this blog. I have only been diagnosed … no treatments, no decisions, nothing else has been decided yet. My intent was to keep folks updated as long as I can before the actual surgery (if I decide to have the surgery) and hopefully continue the blog through the recovery process.
If you know someone that has Chondrosarcosa you’re welcome to read up on the experience. My plan is to document as much as I can, for as long as I can.
I live in Springfield VT, am 56 yrs old and I am a computer programmer/artist by trade.

Oh yeah, about the name. I thought about several names for the site and decided we might as well have some fun with it too. So while the name is kinda funny …. the content is real.
