CT Scan: 8:30 AM
PET Scan: 10:30 AM
Dr. Delaney: 2:30 PM
Note:
This will be the first, in a series of visits to Cox Cancer Center, in which comparison scans are to be done. To arrive at 8:30 am, I’ll need to leave about Springfield, VT about 5:am.
No food or drink is allowed which means I have to make this particular drive without the welcome effects of coffee. Somehow, it doesn’t sound like a fun experience … especially if the weather is poor for driving.

On a somewhat more serious note, I once again was thrilled to see the stress and depression levels both at zero again. Just shows the power of the human spirit.
And on a much more serious note, I hereby volunteer to drive you to Boston on January 21 … and I promise I will drink my coffee (and yours) before I pick you up

Ha ha ha … thank you Ray …. what a great offer. I just may take you up on that. Besides, it’d be nice to take the drive together. Understand it’s a full day+ adventure! It’ll take several coffees indeed!
Maybe we can share driving?
I’m beginning to chill at home. The radiation burns are worse then I realized, and are taking longer then I expected to begin healing … as a matter of fact, they’re still getting worse. They warned me about that happening … so it’s not a total surprise.
Stress and depression are down … the traveling back and forth, felt like I was moving my household every 4 days and made it difficult to focus, or do, anything and everything.
I suspect within a week or two I’ll be up and running around, maybe not as much as I used to … but I will be functioning better then I am at the moment. I feel strength and energy returning more and more everyday.
Thank you for that offer and as the time gets closer … we will solidify a plan. I have no problem with a guest driver or passenger
…. or both for that matter!
